If you’re looking for a craft for kids, we recommend this kit. You can build a wood toy catamaran together and then take it to a pond and watch it go! Kids glue pre-cut wooden pieces together and insert plastic bushings and rubber bands. The lightweight catamaran is propelled only by its rubber-band motor (or wind) and a paddle wheel—a great model boat for kids to see physics in action, and for you to have quality time together. You’ll need to supply your own wood glue. For ages 6 years and up.
