Math can be tough —we’ve seen a few kids slam their math books down in frustration. Good news—slamming math is required when playing Math Slam, by those Learning Games Geniuses at Educational Insights. Math Slam is an electronic game that allows kids to practice and test themselves on math concepts, such as sequencing, addition and subtraction facts, triple addition and subtraction (?!) and missing numbers.
Play is simple—just read the questions and slam the correct answers. Each game of 10 questions is timed, so the faster the answer, the higher the score. Math Slam recycles incorrect responses until the player hits the right response. Three play levels, flashing lights, and fun sound effects maintain interest, but parents and teachers will be glad that a volume control and headphone jack are included!
Details: Math Slam dimensions: 2.8 X 10.5 X 7.5 inches. Requires 3 C batteries, not included. Game automatically powers off after 30 seconds of inactivity.
