My son loves trains, but especially loves crossings. This toy is perfect. He carries it everywhere...to dinner, to potty, to bed. The only negative is the crossing bar keeps coming off. I am about to glue it on because I am tired of putting it back on. I am glad it is soft because like every 3 year old boy, my son uses it as a weapon. Oh, & the sensor to make it recognize someone is in front of it cannot be touched. Kind of hard to explain to my son he can't touch a big round white "button" on the front.
