This is a creative and immensely satisfying set of sand art projects. Kids will create five colorful pictures of detailed tribal masks. Sticky spaces on picture boards are covered with numbered papers that match the colors of sand. Kids peel off papers, exposing sticky spaces, and sprinkle sand over the spaces. Kids can keep the board in the storage box while they work, and pour excess sand back into its container through the convenient hole cut into the box corner.
We love that it takes time to create these richly colored pieces, and kids are so proud of the results! Contents: 5 drawings on rigid cardboard, 12 plastic pots of colored sand, numbered stickers to put on sand pots, illustrated guidebook with examples of the designer’s art. For ages 6 and up.
WARNING: CHOKING HAZARD—Small parts. Not for children younger than 3 years.
Djeco is a French toymaker started by a French mom in 1954 who began by designing small educational toys. Now managed by her son, Frederic, the Paris-based Djeco team focuses on designing beautiful toys that make people laugh, dream and explore. This bubbling group of whiz-kid designers, illustrators and inventors has freedom to experiment, share and compare, making colorful toys we love. All fun aside, Djeco takes quality seriously: products must pass three quality checks before exiting the factory. We adore Djeco products and know our customers will, too!
